These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the The La Gardenia website, our online ordering service, table reservations, and dining at our restaurant. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. About us
The La Gardenia is a pure vegetarian family restaurant operating from Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. We are a food business regulated under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the rules and regulations made under it, and we operate under a valid FSSAI license displayed at our premises.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to place an online order. If you are under 18, you may use the website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. Menu, pricing and taxes
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR ₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST.
- Menu items, prices, and availability may change without notice. The price payable is the price shown at the time you place your order.
- Dish photographs are illustrative. Actual presentation and portion may vary within reasonable limits.
- The minimum online order value is ₹99.
4. Orders and acceptance
- Online orders are accepted only during kitchen hours: 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm (IST), all days of the week.
- An order is confirmed only when you receive an order confirmation with an order code. Until then, your order is an offer that we may accept or decline.
- We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including item unavailability, incorrect pricing caused by a technical error, incomplete or unserviceable delivery address, suspected fraudulent activity, or events beyond our reasonable control. If payment has already been collected for a declined or cancelled order, it will be refunded in full as per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Payments
- Online payments are processed by Razorpay, an RBI-regulated payment aggregator. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank credentials on our servers.
- Where the pay-on-pickup / pay-on-delivery option is offered, payment is due in full when you collect or receive the order.
- A payment that fails or remains pending does not create a confirmed order. Amounts debited for failed transactions are refunded by the payment gateway to the original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days.
6. Delivery and pickup
Delivery timelines, service areas, and fees are described in our Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in that policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
8. Reservations
- Table reservations made by phone or through our contact form are requests and are confirmed only when we confirm them to you.
- We hold reserved tables for 15 minutes past the reserved time, after which the table may be released. Please call us if you are running late.
9. Food information and allergens
- Our entire kitchen is 100% pure vegetarian. Dishes marked as Jain options can be prepared without onion and garlic on request.
- Our dishes may contain or come into contact with common allergens including milk and milk products, nuts, gluten (wheat), and soy. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please inform our staff or add a note to your order before ordering.
- Spice-level indicators are approximate and vary by preparation.
10. Use of the website
You agree not to:
- use the website for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable law;
- place fraudulent, speculative, or automated orders;
- attempt to interfere with the website’s operation, security, or availability, including by introducing malware or attempting unauthorised access — such acts may attract penalties under the Information Technology Act, 2000;
- misuse the contact form or reviews to post defamatory or abusive content.
11. Intellectual property
The The La Gardenia name, logo, website design, text, photographs, and menu content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected under Indian copyright and trade mark law. You may not reproduce or use them commercially without our prior written consent.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including liability under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
13. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural calamities, fire, flood, strikes, civil disturbance, power or internet outages, government orders, or curfews.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer to approach the consumer commissions established under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the website, or your orders.

We aim to acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days. You may also approach the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Lucknow, or use the National Consumer Helpline (1915 / consumerhelpline.gov.in).

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the “Last updated” date shown above. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
